Had breakfast at the hotel cafe.

Kuta Beach

Then we walked around Kuta Beach. A lot of local residents offered us different type of services such as manicure, foot scrubing, body massage, body painting and also hair braid. Some are quite agressive hence better to walk away if you are not interested. These were what we ended up with;

Foot Scrubbing (20,000rp~RM7.00) Not worth it.

Hand Tatoo Painting (25,000/~RM8.80)

The food court overlooking the beach and the view was fascinating.

View from Discovery Kartika Mall - Food Court

Then we tried out balinese massage at Body-Ku, Kuta. An hour of balinese massage cost (70,000rp/~RM24.50). The environment there was not condusive and the quality of the massage was average. Sole Pantai, Kuta was still better tough it charges a little more than Body-Ku, Kuta.

We began our Kintamani tour at 8.30 in the morning.

Barong Dance

The first place that we stopped by was Batubulan for the Barong dance that started at 9:30 AM. This dance cost (80,000rp/~RM28) for an hour show. I would not give a thumb ups for it as the story was dragging too long and in turn it caused boredom. However, you can still watch it for the sake of experience and also to know how Barong dance is. The next stop was Topathi for batik. Nothing much there... Then, we stopped by Celuk for silver crafting. Nothing to shout about too.. Can skip these if you do not have much time in bali.

Tegallalang Paddy Terrace

We headed to Tegallalang for paddy terrace view. The weather there was quite cooling; it was something like Cameron Highlands. The view was nice..

Kintamani - Volcano

Then, we headed to Kintamani for volcano view. The view was awesome. We had our buffet lunch at one of the Restaurant there which overlooking the volcano and the lake.. The weather was cooling, however it was quite sunny when we were there. Remember to apply sun block, otherwise you will be badly tanned.

Kintamani Buffet Lunch

The food there was not really tasty and was vey less variety too.. We paid (100,000rp) for the buffet lunch plus another 21% of tax. Not worth the amount of money (121,000rp/~RM43) that we paid.

We were lucky enough because it was the dolphin's matting season and that is why they more active. It was amazing to see such a huge number of dolphins swiming in the sea. It was a nice experience to be there. . This tour cost (250,000rp/~RM87.50) for an hour tour...

Banjar Hot Spring Water

It took about 30 mins to go up and another 30 mins to go out from the place. Beware of the litches when you swin. Not an ideal place to swim. The view of the water fall was so so .. Nothing to shout about and not worth the money that we paid. Can skip this place if you do not have enough time for other places.

After that, we headed to Tanah lot to catch the sun set. We have to pay (45,000rp/~RM15.80) per entrance. Hence, we could devide the amount among ourselves.. You can do your shopping here too .. but I still prefer Goa Gajah as I can bargain more.

Day 6 (12/07/2009)
